Current documentation says no, (but the datasheet implies yes)
But customer believes that it's a future support. Can anyone confirm?

2960S-48FPD-L does not support GLC-T. See table 1-3 for supported optics in the same link you provided.

Who knows James. I know, if there isn't enough demand/request for it, Cisco will not add it.
So, I would tell the customer, no at this time.

GLC-T will NEVER be supported. The decision is based on this logic: Why use GLC-T when you can use the copper ports available? Not enough switchports for uplink? Get another switch.
