ONE 10Gb virtual interface.

hi! the connection to the backplane is a virtual interface? sounds strange. are you sure about the bandwith? quite important .

thanks and kr

michael

addition: i found in an other forum that wism1 has a 20gbit connection... kr michael

I got my info from two Cisco engineers (one from TAC and the other is a Wireless Advanced Services) that it's 10Gb.  It doesn't make any sense to go 20Gb when the WiSM2 is a single 5508.  The stand-alone WLC 5508 can do 8 Gb, by the way.

What's wrong with Virtual Interface?  It's the same as the WiSM of today.  There are a number of four 1Gb virtual interfaces (per controller and not per blade).

THANKS!

ive been searching for hours...
