WS-3550-48-SMI upgrade

I am planning on upgarding some old code on 4 WS-3550-48-SMI switches.

I was planning on using:

Release 12.2.44-SE6

Filename c3550-ipbasek9-tar.122-44.SE6.tar (16 MB Flash reqiured)

It appears the flash only has 15.25 MB of RAM which can't be right??

Flash Memory

All 3550s have 16 MB of internal Flash memory. The Flash memory is not upgradeable.

There is a limit to the number of images that you can store in Flash. Always check the size, in bytes, of the image in the LAN Switches section of Downloads - Switches ( registered customers only) before you upgrade software. Issue the dir flash: command in order to compare the size of this image with the free space in Flash.
