Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone would know why a WS-C3750G-24PS would drop ICMP packets when those packets are either sourced from or destined to it.

Thanks!

David

Can you post more information? Are you sourcing from a routed port or vlan? Do you have any acls attached to anything on the switch? Are you trying to ping a device local to the switch or on a remote subnet?

When pinging from the switch, I am sourcing the ICMP from a routed port, and the ICMP packets are directed towards neighboring devices on connected subnets of the switch.  There are ACLs tied to various interfaces in the switch.
