WS-C3750G-24PS with GLC-GE100FX

I am trying to use GLC-GE100FX module in WS-C3750G-24PS who is at version 12.2(55)SE1. I get an error when I insert the module

00:11:20: %GBIC_SECURITY_CRYPT-4-ID_MISMATCH: Identification check failed for GBIC in port Gi1/0/27
00:11:20: %PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: gbic-invalid error detected on Gi1/0/27, putting Gi1/0/27 in err-disable state

Please help me resolve this issue.

It's suppose to work.  You have the right switch model and running the right IOS.  I'd RMA that SFP.
