I ordered the switch

WS-C3750X-48P-E

Catalyst 3750   4810/100/1000 PoE, IP Service

I would like to know , If I install IOS  

c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin

The switch functions IP service feature or I need to install liceanse key separately ??

Hello,

check you license with "show lic" command:

show license    

Index 1 Feature: advipservices 

        Period left: 0  minute  0  second 

Index 2 Feature: ipservices    

        Period left: Life time

        License Type: Permanent

        License State: Active, In Use

        License Priority: Medium

        License Count: Non-Counted

  Index 3 Feature: ipbase        

        Period left: 0  minute  0  second 

If you have a valid ipservices license, you can upgrade your IOS version without problems.

License is installed once and  IOS upgrade should not modify it.
