WS-X6708-10GE asic-1 temperature is high

I have WS-C6509-E with WS-X6708-10GE installed, i noticed that my asic-1  & 2 temperature is reaching to 65C. Can anyone give me some document what is the normal temparature for ASIC.

  module 8 power-output-fail: OK
  module 8 outlet temperature: 44C
  module 8 inlet temperature: 32C
  module 8 aux-1 temperature: 45C
  module 8 aux-2 temperature: 42C
  module 8 asic-1 temperature: 65C
  module 8 asic-2 temperature: 64C
  module 8 EARL outlet temperature: 36C
  module 8 EARL inlet temperature: 33C

Hi,

Take a look at the out put of  "show idprom module 8 detail"

Specifically, take a look at the 'sensor auxiliary block' section, sensor No. 0 is for ASIC1 and No. 1 is for ASIC2.

The temperatures of the ASIC will operate up to 127C.

The tempature of the asic -1 is 78C.

It is OK???

Yes, this is OK. The temperature being measured there is inside the ASIC itself, and so we expect these to be much higher than the sensors that are on the baseboard.
