WS-X6724-SFP TROOBLESHOOTING

Hello everyone!

I have a very strange problem on my cisco 7604 with ws-x6724-sfp on board.

The problem looks like some random traffic are discarding without any reason.

For an example, in subnet 192.168.1.0/24 i can ping 192.168.1.1, but can't ping 192.168.1.2. Аfter few seconds i can ping .2, but can't ping .1. The traffic flows same path all the time.

MACs, arp entry are presents in tables. Im sure, that there are no problems with L1/L2/L3 layers.

I suspect ws-x6724-sfp line card and I need a way to troobleshoot it.

How can i check hardware health of my LC?

What commands can i use to do that?

Hi

if your sure its the blade you should able to run a diagnostic on the module , check what syntax is available with #diagnostic ?

did you check cpu and memory when the issue occurs , is there any indcator of fault in logs, usually the module will report something in logs if there is an issue with it , you could check the sh env too
