hi everybody
Module WS-X6748-GE-TX has ranges port group: 1–12, 13–24, 25–36, 37–48
Did I understand correctly, that one range e.g 1–12 belong one ASIC, therefore oversobscription 1:12?

Unfraget,
The 6748-GE-TX module has 4 port ASICs that that each control 12 ports, as you have indicated.
Each port ASIC has a 10Gbps connection to the Fabric Interface and Replication Engine (FIRE) ASIC on the module. The FIRE ASIC has a 20Gbps connection to the switch fabric.
Therefore, the oversubscription is 1.2:1 (12Gbps from the front panel ports / 10Gbps connection to the FIRE)

@unfraget Yes,
Ports per module • 24 ports. Ports are numbered from 1 (left) to 24 (right).
• 2 port groups
• Port ranges per port group: 1–12, 13–24
