X2 10 gig for Catalyst 3750-E Series

Hi,

I have a couple of c3750e switches, i might buy some 10 gig modules for to use for iSCSI connection for a SAN and iSCSI to windows servers. I can see there is listet 6 different X2 modules.

There is only 5-10 feet between the switches, servers and storage.

Which X2 module is best for this setup?

Regards
Robert

Yes, you can do the workaround to have 10G connection X2-10GB-LR  or SR to connect your server with 10G of using SC-LC Fiber optic.

Hi there,

The X2-10GB-SR= supports MMF up to 26 meters so is probably the most suitable module for you.

cheers,

Seb.
