We are planning to do a software downgrade from 17.06.05 to 17.03.04 for the catalyst 9300-24T model

Does xFSU(Extended Fast Software Upgrade)support software downgrade as well ?

Yes, the Cisco Catalyst 9300 series supports software downgrade using the xFSU (Extended Fast Software Upgrade) feature. xFSU allows for fast and non-disruptive software upgrades and downgrades by pre-loading a secondary software image on the switch and then switching between the primary and secondary images without any service disruption. xFSU requires the use of specific software versions and may not be supported on all hardware platforms.

I have found another cisco quick reference guide , As per the document "Downgrades are not supported".
Can anyone confirm , XFSU does not support software downgrades ?

I would never recommend anyone use ISSU/FSU/eFSU/xFSU without TAC in a WebEx call before, during and after the upgrade.
