We have an old GEN 1 appliance with 3.1 and since we moved 3.7 and Hyper V. We were wondering if the appliance can repurposed to run Windows Server or VMware or HyperV.

What is the "color" of these Gen 1 PI appliances? Are they green with blue CD eject button?
If they are, don't bother. (Blue CD eject button means the appliance is an IBM server.)
