Hi all,
We're planning to check the status of SX10 by using its API, but unfortunately we don't have any SX10 yet.
Does anybody know if the parameter below works fine on SX20 TC7.2?
(I guess "Multisite" will not be used, because SX10 has no Multisite function)
<Quoted from SX20 API guide(TC7.2)>
xStatus SystemUnit State System
Shows what state the system is in.
InCall: The system is in a call.
Initialized: The system is ready for use.
Initializing: The system is initializing.
Multisite: The system is in a Multisite conference.
Sleeping: The system is in sleep mode.
Value space of the result returned:
<InCall/Initialized/Initializing/Multisite/Sleeping>
Example:
xStatus SystemUnit State System
*s SystemUnit State System: Initialized
** end

Hi,
"Initialized" and "InCall" are there at least.
I am not sure if "Sleeping" will be returned. I activating standby using the command line interface but xStatus SystemUnit State System still returned "Initialized".
I by the way tested using TC 7.2.1.

I see all the same results as Kjetil, even when the SX10 is a sleep in standby it shows "Initialized".

Hello Kataro -
I'd assume it would be, it runs TC software like the other known SX and even C Series codecs, just with a different feature set than some others. I can check my SX10 tomorrow when I get into work, and let you know.

Kataro, the command is present.

Thank you Patrick!
You mean the command is the same except "Multisite" ?

It didn't return the various states and couldn't get a list, but the base command is there.
xStatus SystemUnit State System

Thank you Patrick.
Let me ask one more question!
Is it possible to check if "Initialized", "InCall" and "Sleeping" will be returned?

Thank you Patrick, Kjetil !
It seems strange "Sleeping" is not returned even if it's in standby.
Is this just a bug or this status is returned only when someone is taking a nap during a conference ?
Regards,
Tusen tack!
