C40 Series & Black Border/MS/MXPs

All,

We are seeing a problem where if a C40 brings (2) MXP endpoints into an MS call the MXPs will have a huge black border around them in their own little window on the C series.  I have included detailed directions below on how to re-create this issue.  Also we do have a TANDBERG ticket opened on this too, ticket 148116.

1) With the C40, it calls an MXP endpoint with its camera set to Motion at 1.5M and connects at 720p.
2) The C40 then calls (MS) another MXP with its camera set to Motion at 1.5M.
3) The C40 reduces its capset so that the max video resolution is w576p.
4) The connections with each MXP adjust their resolution. Inbound to the C40 from the MXPs is now at w448p, outbound from the C40 to the MXPs is now at w576p.
5) The video displayed on the C40 from each MXP has a large black border in each participant\'s frame.
6) That border is also sent to the far end and is seen on each MXP. MXP1 sees the C40\'s video filling the frame, but the video from MXP2 has the border around it (and vice versa).
7) If, while still in the call, the MXP camera is set to sharpness, the reported resolution from the MXP to the C40 is 720p, and the video fills the frame. The video quality has many artifacts in it, probably due to the MXP sending a greater quality than the reduced capset.

Thanks,

Justin

Anyone from Cisco care to take a stab at this?

Thanks,
