Hi all,

we have an SX20 unit which was working fine as stand alone, then we bought BE6000S and wanted to connect the SX20 to the BE6000S.

however the next day when want to start the configuration, we can't access the SX20 thru web even though there is a reply via ping .. i tried to factory rest the SX20, and when i follow the steps of the rest when i press the power button 2 times it turn off ..

is there any way i can do the rest via a remote or not from the web??

the SX20 software version is TC6.3.0.3d8e7d1

Hi,

1. Verify connectivity between your PC and the SX20.

Open a cmd prompt and telnet the IP address of the SX20 with port 80/443

telnet <ip address of SX20> 80

                 or

telnet <ip address of SX20> 443

Cmd should becomes blank if these ports are open.

2. Check the setting using the remote:

Settings > Administrator settings > Network Services

HTTP Mode: ON

Also check network proxy settings on your PC. There should no proxy configurations.

Refer to this admin guide on how to factory reset the SX20 codec using the power button. Refer to page 125.
