Hi there,
We're upgrading Cisco VC system to a Spark Room Codec Plus. Would Cisco Telepresence Precision HD 1080p camera be compatible with the new Codec?
Many thanks,
Gary

If you want camera control, then the answer is No, you should use the Cisco Precision 60 camera.
If you don't need camera control, you can use pretty well anything that you can connect the HDMI port as the input source, whether it's a Cisco camera (including the old 1080p) or anything from other manufacturers (we use a lot of Panasonic AW series cameras here).
If you want camera control, then you can also use the Sony EVI-120H camera directly with a Room Kit Plus if you want a cheaper camera option than the P60. See https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/webex-room-series/datasheet-c78-742078.html

Reading through this and wondering if this has changed? Is the Sony EVI-120H still the only PTZ alternative to the P60? It doesn't look like the package with the Sony is available in North America.

If you want to use the native UI of the codec for camera control then, no, it hasn't not changed, If you're happy to build your own UI on the Touch10, or have another system for camera control, then sure, you can use any brand or model device as an input source as long as you can connect the HDMI to the codec.
