Cisco SX20 and no uplink

Welcome,

After upgrade our NFR device to 7.3.4 firmware version, we can't connect to the unit - the LAN uplink is not active, it's not light. The device is starting without any problem, We can control the menu and camera - everything is working, except the LAN network. Of course, the factory reset also didn't resolve the problem.

Any suggestion?

Can you tell if the SX20 has an IP address, is it set to DHCP or static, if static does it have an IP address configured?

Is HTTP(S) turned on under NetworkServices?

In addition to Patrick's thoughts - have you tried a different network cable and/or switch/port?

I would take a known good cable, give the codec a static IP configuration and directly connect it to a laptop (also of course with a compatible static IP config) to eliminate the switch and/or LAN run as the problem. If that works then you know the LAN port is physically fine so your issue will be with either the port you are using, patch cord on one end or the other, or the switch/port, or lastly configuration - for example if your network is using 802.1x but you don't have the codec configured for it.

Are you able to connect to it via the serial connection?  From there you could try the systemtools selectsw command to switch back to the previous software version if you think it's a software problem.
