CISCO Sx20 Internal Magnetic cable connecting base broken

We had brought Camera SX 20. During Unpackaging of the new product. We found out the Internal cable connector connecting SX20's Camera to Rotor Motor Base is broken. Is it possible to rectify the problem by either splicing the connecting tape ourselves or we can ask for authorized service personnel to visit the premises and replace the model.

Since this was a new purchase, you should have purchased a support contract along with it, in which case you should contact TAC and request an RMA to get it replaced.

If this is a brand new product, I would call my reseller back and request a DOA under warranty.  However, if you disassembled the camera to determine this failure then you just voided the warranty.
