We had brought Camera SX 20. During Unpackaging of the new product. We found out the Internal cable connector connecting SX20's Camera to Rotor Motor Base is broken. Is it possible to rectify the problem by either splicing the connecting tape ourselves or we can ask for authorized service personnel to visit the premises and replace the model.

If this is a brand new product, I would call my reseller back and request a DOA under warranty. However, if you disassembled the camera to determine this failure then you just voided the warranty.
