Cisco Telepresence Edge 95 MXP compatible cameras

Hello all, and thank you in advance.

I am installing this system for a client of mine, and would like to know if there are smaller cameras compatible with this system, which also includes a built in microphone. The end client is Thompson Reuters, so compatible product (if any) should be of a professional grade.

I hope to hear back from any one soon with options.

There isn't any Cisco camera that has a built in microphone, you could probably find some third-party camera/microphone combo that has separate video and audio out.  I don't know of anything off the top of my head, much less even thought of the idea, we've always used the recommended Cisco cameras.  Keep in mind, depending on where the camera will be, a built-in microphone might not be sensitive enough to pick up all the audio depending on the room size.

For the cost and hassle you're going to have to get a compatible device and cable it for both audio and video to such an old endpoint that is also now an end-of-sale and end-of-software maintenance product - you could be better off looking in to a newer endpoint, such as the SX10, which is relatively inexpensive and already has the camera and mic built in.
