CMS 2.1.2 just released, it brings back Web Bridge 1.9, this change (most likely temporary until Web Bridge 2.0 is fixed) resolves the following issues:

  • Cannot join a call via the Web RTC app using Firefox
  • Unable to change passcode on spaces created using Web Admin interface
  • Launching the Web RTC app in guest mode is not possible using Web Bridge 2.0
  • Using the Web RTC app to join a space with no passcode is not possible using Web Bridge 2.0

Sounds like it could be a manifestation of BugID CSCvb47815 (Unable to start meetings in Firefox V49 or later)

I use Cisco Meeting Server 2.1 , not CWMS, Thanks.

Hi,

In all manuals from acano or cisco i am found that firefox brouser only for beta .
For example, from CMS release notes 2.1:
" Note about browser to use with WebRTC App: We strongly recommend only using the most recent version of Chrome "
From acano KB : "Our Firefox WebRTC app (client) is currently in beta test".
