Connecting E1 Ctrl to Avaya DS1 card

Hi,

We are trying to bring up an E1 ctrl connection to Avaya DS1 card. I'm really clueless with what to do. We are trying to establish ISDN connection between the two. I'm using a 2651XM router with NM-HDV= and VWIC-1MFT-E1 card. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Any luck on this yet? I am trying to do this with a T1 connection. There is directions on how to do this using a PRI connection. I am unable to use the PRI connection becuause the Avaya system's software does not allow us to configure the DS1 as ISDN PRI.

Hey,

I was able to turn up the ISDN PRI. Here's the configuration I have.

isdn switch-type primary-4ess

controller E1 1/0

framing NO-CRC4

pri-group timeslots 1-30

voice-port 1/0:15

no echo-cancel enable

cptone PH

Now my next project is how to make this a voice gateway of CM. Damn don't know what to do. LOL
