Hi,

Does anyone have any idea how to delete a system that is inaccessible?

When I try to delete these devices I get the following error.

Hello Dean

What version of CPCM do you have? Is that 1.0 ?

Regards

Rafal

Yes it is.

In the process of downloading release 1.2 - I am guessing I wont get the same problem with this release?

Hi Dean

Yes, main difference is that in 1.0:

'

You cannot delete a profile of a device that is being managed in the Cisco Prime CM application. You

can delete only unused profiles. To verify whether a profile is being used or not, go to the Inventory page

and select a device. The profile details for the device are displayed in the Access Information pane.

'

in 1.2:

'

You can delete devices that are in the Unknown, Unreachable, Inaccessible, Undiscoverable, Suspended,

and Unsupported states. Devices in the Managed state cannot be deleted.

After a device is deleted, it is not listed in the Current Inventory table, but the details are available in the

Prime CM server.

After upgrading to 1.2 those 2 issues should be solved.

Good luck!

Thanks.
