CPL Policy Update on VCS 8.6.1

My VCS currently uses a local CPL file that I needed to make an edit to. I downloaded the file from the VCS, edited it in notepad++ and saved it. Do I simply just upload the new one or does the current need to be deleted first? Also, would this kill any current calls on the system or require a reboot after? I didn't own this appliance when it was originally done. Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes, you can just upload the new policy file which will overwrite the old one.

The VCS polls for CPL script changes every 5 seconds, so the VCS will almost immediately start using the updated CPL script.
