Hi,
I am pretty new in Video and TelePresence part and need the expertise advice.
I have two E20 with me for a demo. The running CUCM version 7.1.3 is available.
In the demo, I need to demostrate Video call between both the E20 and other IP Phones(audio call and video call) , call transfer, call forward.
Whether E20 can be registered with available CUCM or do we need VCS as well?
If E20 can be registered with CUCM , then should I take the device as "SIP endpoint-BASIC" or "SIP endpoint-Advanced" ?
Thanks for the help,
Regards,
Manish

E20 needs CUCM version 8.5 or higher (I think) and will be a specific device type in CUCM (like the CTS endpoints are). Please check for a .cop file on CCO

Hi,
E20 Video Phones successfully registered and now able to make and receive video/audio calls.
Steps>
1. Create one end user in CUCM.
2. Register in CUCM below 8.5 (from 8.5 it is apperaring in a device list) as a SIP Advance Phone
4 goto E20 Video Phone , downgrade the firmware to level 2 assing IP Address, Proxy address
5. Assign User here ( for every phone I need to create separate end user to get associated with the E20 Phone)
Thanks,
Manish
