Hi, I have created and copied thepb.xml file from one EX60 to another. My issue is the entries appear under FAVORITES
not under DIRECTORY.
, Ideally I would like the end user to add to Favourites as they please and that the directory can only be edited from the pb.xml file
please advise, many thanks
Scott

This looks like the correct behavior, the directory would be if you use TMS to publish phonebooks to the unit.
The favorites is the local phonebook which you found in the pb.xml file, so if he would add or change
entries there the pb.xml files would get changed.
So for now there is not much you could do besides adding it to a TMS.

Martin, Revisiting this.
Is there any way to manually create an address book and upload it to an EX unit? I have a client that does not deploy TMS but wants to deploy phone books, this is how I have advised Address books are managed. I was trying to extract the file and edit myself but now with TC7 we have lost WinSCP this is a challenge.
