Expressway X14.2 Licensing

Hello,

We will be installing new EXP C & E version X14.2 for MRA use only. Checking the Smart Account and the BoQ, couldn't find any licenses related to the Expressways. In this case, can the EXP-C and EXP-E server register to the smart account?

Yes they can. Expressway in MRA mode does not require any specific license. It’s a unlicensed feature since awhile back.

Apart from licensing, are there any specific reason for why you’re setting up the new system on x14.2 when there is x15.0.3?

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I do know that MRA doesn't require a license; my question is if there is any server registration license for EXP-C & E.

Regarding the version, we will install the latest one.

No there are no server registration license for EXP-C & E, it will just show up as a Product Instance in the Smart Licensing portal once you register it.
