Going from ISDN Gateway (8321) to PRI - CUCM - SIP Trunk - VCS-C

Hi,

I'm kinda new to this we are currently running an MSE8001 with an ISDN Gateway 8321. We would like to move away from this configuration and link the current ISDN PRI lines directly to CUCM and then use a SIP Trunk between CUCM and the VCS-C

To enable us to use the existing numbers and dial plans. Currently all the dial plans was setup directly on the ISDN Gateway.

How will we go about using CUCM for our ISDN PRI to still be able to make ISDN calls to my Cisco Codec's and TMS for call scheduling.

The reason we are moving away from the ISDN Gateway is, we are moving to CMS and phasing out the MSE 8001.

Please correct me if my question is wrong, but not completely sure how this is done.

Hi,

The two guides that you should check to understand the deployment options and config requirements are the following ones

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/conferencing/ciscoMeetingServer/Deployment_Guide/Version-2-2/Cisco-Meeting-Server-2-2-Deployments-with-CUCM.pdf

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config_guide/X8-9/CMS-Expressway-Deployment-Guide_X8-9-2.pdf
