One of customer wants to use 2 units of the Cisco Ceiling Microphone Pro (CS-MIC-CLGPRO=) with the Cisco Room Kit Pro Bundle (CS-KITPRO-K9) Could you please confirm how the microphones should be connected to the CODEC?
Thanks for help.

The Cisco Mic Pros connect through a Ethernet connection. If you are limited on those connections due to peripherals connecting to the codec then you would want to connect a locally managed switch to the codec and then connect the mics to the switch.

You should use Audio over IP. Connect the MICS Pro to a PoE port on the Room Kit Pro. If you have multiple devices, ensure you have a PoE switch between the codecs and MICs.

Correct - if the Room Kit Pro cannot see the microphones connected to its ports, the configuration screen will not be presented.

Many POE switches allow you to schedule a power cycle of the ports the mics are connected to. You could have these set to auto power cycle each morning before the facility opens in order to allow any updates to take effect.

The Cisco Ceiling Microphone Pro (CS-MIC-CLGPRO=) connects to the Room Kit Pro Codec over Ethernet (PoE), not via the older mic ports. We use CBS switch for 4- micro on EQ
