I have an new ISDN GW and I have just taken a cable that was connected to the E1 PRI port on a gateway (funtional PRI) and connected it to the 1st PRI port on the ISDN gateway. however I see that the layer 1 and 2 are down ?
Why is that ? I would expect at least layer 1 to be up. The cable is a straighthrough cable from what I have seen ? If I put it back on the voice gateway the PRI is up.
