I have an existing auditorium we're installing a Room Kit Pro into. This room already has a Biamp Tesira running the audio mixing for 12 microphones and 20 speakers. I had our Biamp programmers output the mic audio (line level) to mic input 1 on the Codec pro. From my research, it seems by turning off Phantom power, and lowering the db (set to 4), the mic 1 input becomes a line input. I'm still not getting any audio within the codec on that input and all my mic's say inactive.
Do I need to connect a mic to that input, run the audio setup to activate the input, then make the setting changes for line level?
Any suggestions?

There should be no issue connecting the Biamp to the Codec - it should just be a direct connection, after making sure that the phantom power is off on the codec. The level should be able to be adjusted on the Biamp side so you can leave the codec at default values (makes it much easier in the future if you need to replace it due to a failure or with a different model).
If you're not getting any audio the first spot to check would be that the wiring between the two is done correctly, and indeed plugged in to the right spot - I've seen this be the issue way too many times in the past.
I'd also confirm with your Biamp guys that the audio is started correctly on the Tesira and they can see the levels being sent on the output (in case the route through the DSP isn't configured correctly for that output).
Highly recommended that you also do all the AEC on the Tesira and turn AEC off on the codec.

We have recently started to integrate the Tesira into our Room Kit Pro units and it has not been smooth. The difference is that we haven't had any trouble getting audio in, the trouble is getting clean audio in. The only way we have been able to clean up the audio was to use a DI box on the out from the DSP to the Mic in on the codec.
