Load sharing per packet on VoIP network

Hi

According to Cisco documents use of load sharing per packet is discouraged on VoIP links:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1831/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800ca6ca.html

Our client insists using load sharing per packet between primary and backup link. So far we've seen no problems on our tests, no voice quality degradation, etc. but I would like to hear of anyone with previous experiences using this configuration.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

It will be more processor intensive.

I have tried load sharing per packet with 7960's at a remote office and the CM server at our Datacenter. Per packet had issues with the phones keeping in sync. ie hang up the phone and see how long it takes. We left CEF on the default and it works great.
