I hope someone can help me
We use internaly VOIP and exetrnaly we have a PRI line
We have a Cisco 3725 voice gateway and two Cisco Call Manager 5.1.
I would like to know if it is possible to map a different number on an inbound caller id .
Exemple :
an external numer call employe number :
079121212 call 0227333889, the display on the IP phone will be 079121212 .
my question is : Is it possible to change the display on the IP Phone.

If you have an H323 gateway you can create a voice translation rule and then apply that to set translate calling to translate the calling party number to whatever you want to change the display on the phone.

Do you think it is possible that when I do a translation (079558954 > 4182) It display the name of the owner of 4182 . Is it poosible to configure CUCM to look in Directory database ?
