MSE8510 problem MCU - Reallocate failed

We are using TMS with TMSXE. The users can reserve conference rooms from their Outlook.

When they reserve only one room the MCU is not reserved from TMS.

So when they want to have an MCU to add remote rooms/EP's they TMS manager needs to manually add the MCU to the registered conference in TMS.

Apparently the MCU has problems with this and gets stucked.

the following undocumented error is then obtained:

Reallocate failed: Description: numeric ID clash. System: 10.1.99.21 Interface: HTTP Command: 'AllocateMeeting' Result from system: 'Error, fault code 18'

The only way to clear the error is to restart the MCU.

TMSXE v2.2

TMS v13.0.1

MCU v4.2(1.43)

Could also not find this problem in the available release notes.

Any idea what goes wrong or if an upgrade of the above components could solve to problem?

What is the setting for including an mcu in the conference set to? Admin tools --> conference settings

Always

Only when needed

Or always except p2p?

Fault code 18 rings a bell, it might have something to do with a bug regarding duplicate numberic id's. I'm not in the office so i cant check it to confirm at this time.

Do you see anything regarding duplicate numberic ids?

Oh sorry i see it it in the error message you posted. Numberic id clash. Fixed in 4.3
