Query on license for Cisco Board

Hi Team,

Could anyone please help to confirm on the below query for Cisco Board Pro 55 G2 and Cisco Board Pro 75 G2.

Is Remote monitoring options for TelePresence Endpoints -> Remote monitoring option for Cisco Webex Board (L-BOARD-RM) mandatory for Cisco Board to operate? Should these licenses be purchased separately while ordering the Cisco Board? Can the board operate without the licenses?

Please help to provide clarity on this ASAP.

No, you don't need those licenses. They are optional.

The "Remote Monitoring" Option Key is only necessary if you want to see snapshots from the endpoint's camera/content sources via its web interface.   This Option Key was something that was introduced quite a few years back to replace what used to be free  (included out of the box) functionality.   If you're interested, have a look at This Thread and others it links to.
