Question for SX20/SX80 - How I can change display name on device screen during the calls

Hi Everyone,

How can i change display name on sx20/sx80. I want to use name in place of sip uri on the device screen.

Is there any way for this ?

Since you say "device screen", I assume you're talking about what is presented on the touch panel and/or TV, let me know if you're meaning something else.

Set either or both of the following:

• SystemUnit  Name
• SIP  DisplayName

When SIP DisplayName is used, this will show up on someone's screen when called, otherwise they will see your SIP address.

You can also decide what to display on the touch panel and TV as well using "UserInterface ContactInfo Type", by default it's set to Auto, which is based on the default call protocol and system registration (ie: H323, SIP).

Where i can find this settings , I could not found it on CUCM device page.

The option is located on the phone configuration page for the line # of the endpoint, refer to the "Display caller name" page in the Administering TelePresence Endpoints on CUCM Guides for the CUCM version and SX20 software you're running.
