"Camera not connected" - SX80 Using external non-CISCO cameras

Fix:

Log in to the codec.

(you need the IP address, username / password)

 

Go to:

Setup > Configuration > Peripherals > (in the “Profile” area, set “Cameras” to 0.

Press “Save” on the top right of the screen.

Message went away.

Yes, that is correct, and the same as I suggested here: https://community.cisco.com/t5/telepresence-and-video/message-camera-not-conected/m-p/3417280#M94277 that you marked as Helpful, as well as the answer provided in this thread: https://community.cisco.com/t5/telepresence-and-video/cisco-sx80-removing-no-camera-connected-warning-from-osd/m-p/2786574 which you also marked as Helpful.

Note: this also works for other models of codec that run the CE software image (ie Room Kit Series) as well as the SX80.
