SIP / SDP RTP/AVP Question

I have some  questions about interpreting the SIP/SDP Entry in the Whireshark log. I hope you can help me to see the things clear.

The Problem is that another codec ll not receive any Presentation Content, he ll only see a black screen.

In the Request Invite SIP/SDP i have to following

. Media Description ..... application 51440 UDP/BFCP *

. Media Description ...... video 51142 RTP/AVP 97 126 96 ....

. Media Description ........ application 51444 RTP/AVP 100

- Is the Content using the Video or the Application RTP/AVP ?

- Also Dual Screen Codecs?

- The Ports from the other Codec i ll see in the Request ACK Message right. So it is not need to use the same Ports for send and receiving the RTP/AVP Stream

Hello,

I had a problem with two cisco IP Phones 9971 where I had CUBE in the middle. Everytime i called the other phone I would get one way video. What did the trick for me was enabling SDP pass-thru on the cisco CUBE router.

conf t

voice serv

sip

pass-thru cont sdp
