Cisco Spark Board is a SIP only endpoint, it can only dial other endpoints with a SIP URI. I just tested it with my Spark client on my computer, and was able to dial my DX80 using alias@ip_address, and since the Spark Board is registered to Spark as well, it might be possible, but this would be unsupported by Cisco if it worked.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks alot for your response.

i just want to confirm if i do not have any call control VCS or CUCM then can i call from spark board to any DX,MX or SX series, as spark can only dial URI then i am not sure it is possible.

Spark Board is using the Cisco Collaboration Cloud as it's call control, so it's up to the called party to have the needed infrastructure in place to accept the incoming SIP call, ie: SRV records and some sort of call control, such as CUCM or VCS/Expressway.  Spark registered endpoints can call each other without issue, this only applies to calling on-premise registered endpoints.
