Hi Everyone,

We have standalone telepresence endpoint(MX700)  using with real ip but customer want to call telepresence endpoint using with jabber from outside.

Does mx700 able to receive h323 and sip call standalone  this configuratin ?

What is best practise for this solution I know that should be fine  using with rexpressway and CUCM registered endpoint itself.

Thanks

It's possible, if you search the forums for "standalone", you'll find many threads on the subject.  One in particular thread regarding H323 is sx20-standalone and for SIP is sx10-call-type-scenario.

If we figure that "Jabber from outside" is registered to a Cisco UCM, and it is capable of making calls to the outside, then it means that for B2B calls they use ExpresswayC and E. With this said, the Expressways are able to make a direct connection to the MX700 if it is reachable from the internet. The call flow would go like this:

Jabber --> CUCM --> Expressway-C --> Expressway-E --> Internet --> MX700

If you follow the information provided by Patrick Sparkman, the MX700 should be capable of receiving calls from Jabber.

I hope this helps in some way
