By default, probably not - and without knowing which Operating System you're using, its very hard to answer your question., but assuming you're connecting to a Cisco switch (or another manufacturer's device that supports CDP), you'd need some form of CDP client for your OS.
There's a Windows based one linked in this thread in the LAN, Switching and Routing part of these forums - and that's probably a better place to ask the question rather than in the TelePresence section.
