Hello,

I have a problem with a SX10 that is behind a firewall, the problem is seem this thread https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12380346/sx10-behind-firewall but in this case the person just use a hosted solution. I don't have this option I want to have a standalone SX10 but the problem that I have is that the firewall NAT the private IP of the IP Header but I use a sniffer software and I see that the SIP header don't change.

I'm using a ASA 5515X, I see on the web the option of create a service policy rule that makes SIP Inspection and can changes the SIP header but it don't works.

Someone have information of how I can do NAT of the SIP Header.

Thanks for your help.

Hello

Your best solution is probably to fix the issues with the firewall first, it's more likely that even if you try other solutions you will probably have issues with signalling or media later. Here is a support forum page with a similar firewall configuration like the one you are using: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/10242841/problem-asa5520-asterisk-server-softphone-cant-register

Another possible help is the SX10 does support ICE,STUN and TURN. You can look through the SX10 guide to see where to configure this and there are public free STUN and TURN servers you could use. This will still not help if your firewall is blocking RTP ports.
