Tandberg 3000 mxp Presentation issue

Presentation issue
I have Tandberg 3000 mxp device in of my site. I Codec end a DVI cable mail  with 02 nos of RCA connector is connected.  02 nos. of  RCA connector are connected to port 5 and 6. Other end a VGA cable mail  with Audio connector is connected to Laptop. I am able to share presentation files like word files,notepad and pdf files, but when I am trying to share video files their is an issue. I am able to see the video files on display screen but not able to here the audio of the same file. I had checked the configuration,reconnect the cable and tested with other Laptop also but issue is still persists. I had checked the configuaration , self audio test also of the system.

Make sure the 2 RCA audio connectors are connected on the Audio input ports labeled as 3 and 4 (high lighted in RED).

Also have you tried other known working Audio cable? 

Could you share the xconfiguration of the codec to check the audio input settings?

You mentioned  "I Codec end a DVI cable mail  with 02 nos of RCA connector is connected.  02 nos. of  RCA connector are connected to port 5 and 6." Are you sure it's a 3000MXP codec? There is no Audio input 5 and 6 on 3000MXP. I think it's a 6000MXP codec. Can you confirm?

'' CTS-P52MXP-K9 '' this is an part no. of the system. So it is my mistake to mentioned the device as 3000. This is 6000 mxp codec .
as you said the RCA conncetors are connceted to 5 and 6. In 5 black conncetor is connected and in 6 red cooncetor is coonceted.

Can you provide a copy of the audio settings on the MXP, perhaps there might be something misconfigured?

If you really think the configuration is okay, have you tried a factory reset?  Note, a factory reset will clear all option keys, so they'd have to be written down prior to the reset and then added to the MXP afterward.

Can we use the separate cable which is  02 nos. of RCA connector at  one end and the other end 01 no. of Audio connector. So by using two separate cables the presentation files having Video files are able to view and hear ?  is it possible ? please help .

Are you suspecting the audio cable attached on the presentation cable is defective? 

Yes, you can use separate cable for that. Since the video and audio signal are transmitted separately. Video is transmitted on the VGA-DVI cable and the audio on the mini-PL (3.5mm) to RCA.

I want to use min. 08 mt. cable for the same. Will it work properly ?

Sure it will work. We have used more than 10 meters of good quality audio cable and works fine.

Sorry for the delay .

We had connected the separate 02 nos. of RCA connector at one end and the other end 01 no. of Audio connector cable to the Tandberg 6000 MXP. Now we can able to here the sound /Audio of Video files on presentation mode.
