We are running Cisco Telepresence Manager 1.6.5 and getting email alerts (below):

One or more of the certificates in Cisco TelePresence Manager is about to expire

  Certificate Name: CTM

  Certificate Unit: ipsec-trust

  Certificate Type: trust-sert

Certificate Expiration Sun Oct 27 18:56 UTC 2013

When we go to the Security page on th Cisco TelePresecne Manger the following three certificates are displayed:

  Unit              Category     Certificate Name

  tomcat          OWN          tomcat.pem

  CTM-trust      TRUST        ectrpub01.fresnounified.org.pem

  CTM-trust      TRUST        activesync.fresnounified.org.pem

When we view the Certificates we see the following expiration information:

tomcat.pem                                       Validity - Not After Oct 10 17:24 2018 GMT

ectrpub01.fresnounified.org.pem          Final Date Sun Aug 06 16:30 UTC 2017

activesync.fresnounified.org.pem         Final Date Mon Jun 02 23:59 UTC 2014

The tomcat.pem was just update last week.

So, what certificate is the error message (above) talking about?  We do not see anything that is going expire.

It is referring to the ipsec-trust cert.

Sorry, I have not worked with certificates very much.  So, where do we update this certificate?  I dont see it in CTM.

I believe its under System config-> Security.

When I select System Config -> Security, I don't see a certificate that matches the above.  All I see are the certificates listed below:

When we view the Certificates we see the following expiration information:

tomcat.pem Validity - Not After Oct 10 17:24 2018 GMT

ectrpub01.fresnounified.org.pem Final Date Sun Aug 06 16:30 UTC 2017
