Hello,
we have some TMS GUI issues after upgrading Firefox from 16 to 17.
For example it is not possible anymore to click on a device in the system navigators folder view (left).
Does somebody knows a workaround?
Thanks
Renz

Hi Renz,
We are aware of the problem and are currently looking into possible workarounds.
I'll update the thread as soon as we have something.
Thanks,

Looks like only the tree view is affected – you can still use the main Navigator window to drill down your folder hierarchy and get to your systems. Still a very ugly bug though, and it has our highest priority right now.

Another workaround seems to be to change the user agent string so that Firefox identifies itself as an older version:

Thanks Kjetil,
the workaround is working for me too.

Hi,
The problem seems to be that the third party library we use for the System Navigator's tree view component relies on the User Agent string to decide what to serve to the client. This string changed in Firefox 17 (see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Firefox_17_for_developers), and the third party library no longer recognizes Firefox.
Some good news though: Mozilla has decided to revert the change. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=814263. There is no target milestone set in the issue tracking system, but it looks like the change already has been made in the latest Firefox nighly builds. I assume it won't be long until it is changed in the stable release as well.
Regards,
Kjetil

The issue has now been resolved on the Firefox side with FF 17.0.1, released last Friday. The TMS System Navigator now works as expected again.
