TMS 15.1, 15.5 and 15.6.1 and CCC issue

Hi guys,

When I tried to open CCC I receive the following alert,

"Java support has not been detected. This page requires Java to be installed and enabled in your browser. Java may not be installed, or may be disabled in your browser due to configuration or security settings. Please visit the Java website www.java.com to download the Java Runtime or to test your browser's configuration"

my current environment is:

TMS 15.1

TMSPE1.7

Java 7 update 51 (64-bit)

Java 8 Update 121 (64-bit)

I am upgrading to 15.5 or 15.6.1 shortly but I don't believe this will resolve this issue.

What do I need to do to have CCC functioning again?

Thanks

Not being able to open CCC due to a Java issue is a client issue. The TMS version is irrelevant. In a nutshell, you need to run a browser that supports the use of Java, with the correct package of Java installed. For example, IE supports Java, and Edge does not.

Hi guys,

I upgraded to 15.6.1 two days ago. upgrade was successful. I am able to add Cisco Spark Plus which is great.

I experimented during the upgrade and downgraded to Java 7.17 and 7.51 and also upgrade to the latest Jave release.

the only one that worked with the system was Java 8.121.

CCC still doesn't work, I tried a lot of suggestions I red from various different forums such as the below solution:

1)     Open Java Control Panel

2)     Click on Security Tab

3)     Click the "Edit Site List" button

4)     Click Add and type your TMS server URL in to the Location box (ie http://tmserver/tms/)

5)     Continue past the warning about http sites if you used http rather than https

6)     Click OK out of the Control Panel

but unfortunately I wasn't successful.

Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I got it working on IE last week, it was related to Java / Active X permissions.

I still can't figure out how to get it working on Firefox but at least I can access it now on IE.

So how do you get the graphical monitor in TMS to work with Microsoft Edge?

You don't. Edge does not support Java plugin.

The only way you can get it to work with Microsoft Edge is to install the "IE Tab" extension - this essentially allows you to run IE within the other browser.
