I've come into a new environment with my new job and noticed that the TMS server has TMSPE installed, but when going to TMS general settings, I don't see the right dropdown. I only get Enable Cisco TMS Agents.
I am on TMS 13.2 (looking to upgrade to the latest)
VCS is on X7.1
VCS is throwing TMSPE alarms all over the place.
Base Group is not populated.

Look over this guide, can you confirm what version of TMS you're using? Looking at the Cisco TMSPE Deployment Guide 1.0, on pg 20 "Enabling Cisco TMSPE", it shows a different screenshot then what you've provided. You show "Enable Cisco TMS Agents" in your screenshot, however the guide says "Provisioning Mode".
The most current versions are TMS 14.5 and TMSPE 1.3, see Cisco TMSPE with VCS Deployment Guide 1.3 on how to upgrade your deployment.

Yes, TMS is 13.2
That's what my problem is. It doesn't show Provisioning Mode.
According to some other discussions people are saying that's because TMSPE isn't installed, and it is.
I'm doing the TMSPE upgrade so I can get my TMS up to 14.5. The prereqs require going from 13.2 to 14.1, and to get to 14.1 I need TMSPE set up.
I'm wondering if I should just push TMS 14.3.1

Maybe something didn't go right when it was installed, or the account used by TMSPE to access TMS is incorrect. Perhaps a reinstall of TMSPE might fix it.

Hi,
If you RDP to the TMS server, can you see the TMS Provisioning Extension services running under services? If it is there, try to restart it from here. Also, check the following:
- What is the java version you are running? TMSPE 1.0 need Java 6 (you can use update25-38).
- Was a service account created with admin privileges on TMS to install TMSPE?
- Was the data migration from TMS Agent to TMSPE successful?
- Do you have a tmspe database created on the DB server during the TMSPE installation?
If answer to any of these questions is negative, please follow the deployment guide and re-install the TMSPE. That should fix the issue.

Hi,
It will be better if you uninstall TMSPE and re-install following the TMSPE 1.0 guide. Do you have any TMS agent data to migrate TMSPE ?
Under Control panel, verify you have correct and only one version of Java running.
