Hi,

short easy question i think. :-)

From thisinstallation guide ->

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tmsxe/install_guide/Cisco_TMSXE_install_guide_3-0.pdf on page 14

i can`t see what permissions the user need. So what users do i have to configure in Exchange and TMS ??

I saw this document from Tim Walker ->

https://supportforums.cisco.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/25186-10-130431/EN-Presentation_Final_CiscoTMSXE3_Tim_Walker.pdf

on page 54 and 55 are two different users.

Could someone explain me what users i have to create with which permissions?

Best regards

Jason

Hi

Optimally you should have 2 users. 1 that might be a domain user or a local user but the clue is that the user that connects to TMS have have to exist in TMS and needs the correct booking permissions in TMS.

For the TMSXE service account this user needs a mailbox and needs to be able to log into Exchange (domain account). This user needs to have full access to all the mailboxes of the systems that you add.

tmsconfuser exists in TMS and have full booking permissions and this is the TMS user.

TMS-Service needs to have access to exchange. A regular service account that has a mailbox and access to the systems room mailboxes.
