I have gone through all the documents I could find and cannot find out what the headphone jack is used for on the Touch10, or if its even supported.

Does anyone know?

If it's not documented anywhere in the Touch 10 data sheet or any admin/user guides than it's safe to assume the USB/headphone ports on the side are not supported at this time. Could possibly be marked for some kind of "future use" case, similar to the USB ports on the back of the TelePresence codecs, and simply not documented.
