Hi,

Is there something blocking the communication between the touch pad and the CUCM?  Any firewall in between?

Did you reboot the codec after plugging in the Touch Pad?

Have you checked DNS resolution? Make sure you can reach CUCM via hostname and IP address.

You can try restarting the TFTP service as well.

It can be an issue with the codec itself not passing power of something that might require RMA.

Tere.

Thanks for your reply,

Please can specify which files should I upload to CUCM that support the TX1310, because the message appeared is CUCM un accessible.

Regards,

Hey Ali,

Confirm> Does your touch panel gives you Red x on 5th check mark while booting ? and gives you the error message:

Unable to retrieve the boot image

Try below mentioned steps:

Make sure > In CUCM under loads name>  extention is not there. file name  should not have any

(such as .sbn, .spa, or .loads) etc extension.

>  access the codec through command line and login as admin , hit command utils arp list  check if you see an entry

uidev1.local  is you see it that means touch is detected by codec. cables and connections are good.
you can also try to ping the touch panel  from codec using this command>

utils network ping uidev1.local

go to CLI of codec and now hit this command
show tech runtime

ctsdevImageAddr=http://14.80.94.145:6970

ctsmainImageName=CTS.6-0-2-28R-K9.P2.SPA

ctsdevImageName=CTSDEV.6-0-2-28R-K9.P1.SPA >>>>>>>>>>   this file should be there.. its for

touch panel.. and also >>> make sure that in below mentioned string

ctsdevImageAddr=http://14.80.94.145:6970   if you have host name instead of IP 14.80.94.145
it should be resolvable.

Check all above things and let us know whats the outcome.
if it still doesnt works  i will give you a tip but that would require you to restart your
CUCM. so i am holding my self as if now. let us know the outcome first

Hi Vikram,

in the CUCM I accessed to the device default configuration, I saw the TX1310 but in the Load information field is empty.

Please I thunk that I must see the files on the field like the other registered phones, so please advice??

Hey Ali,

Go to os admin on CUCM and check if you have CTS  sw  file in there.

If you have it then copy and paste the file name in this format

cmterm-CTS.1-9-6-2R-K9.P1    >>>> no extention please. under loads name on CUCM .

then apply config  and reset the device.

if you dont have the CTS sw file to be seen under os admin page then you will have to upload the sw file on cucm tftp server

> restart the tftp service and then put the load name file under CTS device profile > loads name minus the extention.
