Hi all

Has anybody experience what is exactl the boot process of a TX9000?

Because I have the Problem the getting the system well up, I have no access anymore to the TS1 and also TS2 Codec.

I'm don't getting a IP address of the TS1 if connect my laptop to the AUX Port (TS1 Codec)

I have also tried to conect my laptop to port on the TS2 Codec, one times are getting an IP adress but after a reboot not anymore.

I have also on the Touchpanel the error ( state 4) "unable to communicate with the codec"

Is there any other solution to have access to the codec ? I have not found any serial Console Port?

( I can't open a case at TAC because the Service just running in 1 week)

Interesting was, the system was running well after the system was upgrade to TX6.1.2.1(5), but after we have change the Ethernet speed to 100 full and have made a reboot we have now this Problem.( recomend of the Network Provider)

Any Help very appreciated.

Regards

Georg

Hi Georg,

The Internal DHCP server, the one that assigns addresses to the other Codecs and the cameras should be unaffected by a change to the Uplink port.

I would advise ensuring the cabling is 100% correct - then power cycle all 4 codecs.  Once they come up, you should be able to observe each being assigned a 192.168.x.x address on the displays.  The center will assign itself one as well and display it there if it does not get a DHCP address from the network.

I would then advise connecting a laptop to the Aux Camera NIC port on the TS4 Presentation codec, from here you should receive a DHCP address.  Once here you should be able to hit the center codec address.

Hi Jonathan

Thank you for the Feedback.

I have checked the cabling, it should be ok.

Because the system was running until we have changed the speed to 100full.

Now the Center cpdec comes up with the right address and all 6 status are checked succesfully.

But codec ts2, ts3, ts4 ar not getting a ip, i see on the left and right screen the codec have 192.168.100.2

My laptop also don't get an ip on the ts2 and also not on ts1, im geting an IP on the ts4 10.0.4.4 on the aux port, but not routetd to the TS1.

I have also connect my laptop direct on the uplink port on TS1, but it was not possivle to ping the IP

Exist a way to reset the codec to factory without Access via ssh or web? No serial console Port available?

Its really strenght.

I have now a case open with tac and hope to get more help tommorow.

If you have any more Input it is still appreciated.

Regards

Georg

Hi Georg,

Were you able to resolve this issue. I have just received the same issue with my TX9000.
